The most common contaminants found in a well is Iron, Manganese, and Hydrogen Sulfide. These are the contaminants that cause your water to turn orange, sometimes black, and have a sulfur like smell. The SpringWell AIO System removes up to 8 PPM of Hydrogen Sulfide, up to 7 PPM Iron and 1 PPM Manganese. The system requires no maintenance and can be set to have a daily backwash to remove the accumulated contaminants and replenish the filter media bed. The regeneration process also adds a fresh air pocket to the system which removes the sulfur smell you may have.
Filtration Broken Down: The SpringWell Air Injection Oxidizing Filter System is a single tank system that is an efficient and cost-effective system for the removal of Iron, Sulfur and Manganese! The SpringWell AIO maintains an “air pocket” in the top of the tank while the system is in service. As the water passes through the air pocket, iron, sulfur, and manganese is oxidized. Additionally, dissolved oxygen will add to the water. The SpringWell AIO System then filters the oxidized iron, sulfur and if present, manganese from the water.
The SpringWell AIO System comes with an electronic control valve that is completely automatic, so once it is programmed it’s set it and forget it. By utilizing a patented piston in the control valve we are able to put the whole oxidation process in one tank, keeping maintenance costs and downtime to a minimum.
